3. Constructional Details
(a) MOTOR : Sq. cage induction having high starting torque, hoist duty, conforming to IS : 325, running on 3ph, 415V, +10 %, 50 Hz +5 % AC supply, TESC, placed inside the drum giving more approaches.
(b) GEAR BOX : Comprising of train of spur gears of alloy steel, hardened and running on ball bearings.
(c) ROPE DRUM : Fabricated from steel plates with machine cut grooves with proper clamps for clamping the rope.
(d) GUIDE RING : specially designed for smooth and proper winding of rope.
(e) RETAINING RING : Spring loaded to ensure rope remaining in the groove all the time.
(f) BRAKE : Failsafe Disc type self adjusting D.C. Electromagnetic.
(g) LIMIT SWITCH : For limiting extreme positions of hoisting / lowering.
(h) WIRE ROPE : Flexible and properly selected from repute manufactures to ensure safety and long life.
(i) CONTROL PANEL : Sheet metal box housing air-break contactors, fuses, rectifiers, transformers.
(j) PENDANT : With push buttons having control voltage of 110 V.
